Junior Kart Club

The next step for young drivers ready to race competitively.

Junior Kart Club, known as JKC, is Raceworld’s junior championship for drivers who have developed the pace, control and confidence to move beyond academy sessions.

Who is Junior Kart Club for?

Junior Kart Club is designed for young drivers who are ready to move beyond learning and into competitive championship racing.

Ideal for drivers who...

  • Enjoy competitive racing.
  • Can drive confidently and safely.
  • Show good racecraft and awareness.
  • Want to compete for championship points and podiums.

How drivers usually join

1
Start in our Junior Kart Academy.
2
Develop speed, consistency and racecraft.
3
Consistently lap under 28 seconds.
4
Receive an invitation from one of our instructors.
Good to know: A lap time under 28 seconds is usually the benchmark for consideration, but speed alone isn't enough. Drivers must also demonstrate safe, consistent driving, good awareness and the right attitude.

FAQs

Is Junior Kart Club a training session?

No. JKC is a junior championship for drivers who are already ready to race competitively. Newer drivers should usually start with the Junior Kart Academy.

How do drivers get into JKC?

Most drivers progress from the Junior Kart Academy. Drivers who are already consistently lapping below 28 seconds may also be considered, subject to instructor approval.

Does a sub 28 second lap guarantee entry?

No. It is a useful benchmark, but drivers must also show consistency, control, awareness, racecraft and the right attitude.

Are Monday and Tuesday separate championships?

Yes. Monday and Tuesday are separate JKC nights, each with their own drivers, results and standings.

Can JKC drivers move into Devon Kart Club?

Yes. When drivers are old enough and have shown the required pace, maturity and racecraft, they may be invited to progress into Devon Kart Club.
